Bailey Total Building Envelope always recommend installer training for all of their products; installer training for Bailey Atlantic is compulsory.
All contractors who wish to install Bailey Atlantic must be part of their Registered Installer Scheme.
The Bailey Registered Installer Scheme has a series of requirements in order to meet the exceptional standards expected from Bailey Total Building Envelope Solutions.
Contractors that would like to take part in the scheme are required to undergo an audit process which checks the quality of workmanship of the contractor.
All operatives joining the Registered Installer Scheme will take part in a training day, held at the Bailey headquarters in Horsham. The training ensures that installers
understand the key principles that need to be applied when installing the Bailey material. There are specific courses for Bailey Atlantic, System 5000 and other systems
by special arrangement.
The training day consists of;
- Introduction to the Bailey Selected System (such as Bailey Atlantic)
- Technical details including roof build up
- Methods of fixing
- Principles of welding and bonding
- Practical demonstrations and hands on training.
The day will also cover the following technical details to give the operative the key principles which apply to everyday roofing.
- Pipe collars
- Other roof penetrations
