PPC & Logistic Technician
Take us through a typical day at Bailey for you…
My time is spent managing orders, from making sure we have plenty of stock, to dispatching goods when orders have been placed. I also support the rest of the boys (both young and old!) in the factory.
What’s your favourite thing about working for Bailey?
The support I get from everyone and the banter I have with the boys makes my job worthwhile.
What’s the most challenging aspect of your job and how do you overcome it?
Orders sometimes need to be turned around very quickly, particularly ones that are late in the day and require next day delivery. With larger orders I know I can call on the boys to give me a hand if needed.
What advice would you give to someone who would like to work in Quality Control
Always stay on top of work, don’t leave until later what you can do now, otherwise it could bite you on the bum.
What three words would you use to describe the company?
Do you have any nickname? What is it?
As I am 6ft 6ins, there are a lot! Hagrid, The Big One, Big Foot, Rianair, RiRi, to name a few. All of which I am happy to answer to!
If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza with meat, but once a day may not be enough.
If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?
1. A boat
2. A lifetime supply of drink – alcohol would be preferred
3. A nightclub – it would work with the boat
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I play football whenever I can. At the weekend I like to go to nightclubs with my friends.
What is on your bucket list?
I have none, I live for the moment but maybe one day!
If you were given a choice, where in the world would you like to go?
Tenerife or any party resort.
