PPC(Polyester Powder Coating) Manager

Take us through a typical day at Bailey for you…

The day starts with a review of the PPC teams daily work load, double checking that all manufactured products have been received from the fabrication team and making sure that PPC colours and fixing are prepared.  I may arrange or attend meetings. Working closely with the fabrication team is essential part of the role as we review loadings, weeks, months in advance to make sure stocks of the right RAL Colours are available as sometimes specials are required that need longer lead times when ordering. The role is very much about anticipating potential delays. What I do enjoy is supporting the team and helping out were needed, when leading from the front, it’s good to show you are prepared to get your hands dirty.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Bailey?

The people I work with, as they are always there when needed.

Deadlines! But with careful planning and clear communication from our projects and fabrication team, we can prepare fully and keep our customers happy.
